Do I need to be an experienced player to use Pok Genius?
No. The platform is designed for every level. The GTO ranges cover the most common spots so you can start gently, and the Trainer adapts to your progress. Regulars and advanced players will find custom ranges and solutions for complex spots (3-bet pots, ICM final table, push/fold).
What's the difference between GTO and exploitative strategy?
GTO is the mathematically optimal strategy, unexploitable by your opponents. Exploitative play means deviating from GTO to adapt to a specific opponent's tendencies. Mastering GTO first gives you the solid foundation needed to deviate with intent.
How does the GTO Trainer work?
The Trainer puts you in a preflop spot with a random hand from your range. You pick your move (raise, call or fold) and it shows you the GTO answer with the EV of each option and the EV loss of your choice. Your detailed stats identify your improvement areas by position, scenario and range collection.
Does Pok Genius work for MTT and ICM?
Yes. The Ranger includes collections dedicated to MTT tournaments with ranges adapted to different stack depths and stages (early, late reg, bubble, ITM, final table). Solutions account for ICM (Independent Chip Model) so you make the right push/fold decisions in critical phases.
Does the Bankroll Manager work with my room?
Yes. The Bankroll Manager supports multi-room tracking with currency handling (EUR/USD with configurable conversion rate). You can manually add your sessions, transfers and balances, or follow your tournament results to compute ROI and ITM% per format.
How does live coaching work?
You book a slot with the coach of your choice, then work over video on your hands: session review, tough spots, GTO or exploitative adjustments, progress plan. Some coaches also run group sessions on specific topics (push/fold ICM, BB defense, postflop adjustments, etc.).
